Bertrand Baguette and Esteban Guerrieri will spearhead Castrol Honda Racing’s lineup at the Total 24 Hours of Spa later this month.

The Honda factory drivers will drive the field’s only NSX GT3 which has been entered as a one-off entry in the Pro-Am Cup.

They will be joined by a pair of Bronze-rated drivers who are yet to be announced.

Guerrieri has tested the car regularly and drove it in the ADAC GT Masters round at the Red Bull Ring in June.

Baguette currently races a Honda NSX-GT for Nakajima Racing in the Super GT series and has been an works driver for the Japanese manufacturer since 2014.

He has contested the Total 24 Hours of Spa four times previously.

“The 24 Hours of Spa is the most prestigious GT3 race in the world and I’m so happy to be a part of the Castrol Honda Racing team and to have my first experience of racing the beautiful NSX GT3,” Baguette said.

“I’ve had many successes in my sports car career so far, like the victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours and the FIA WEC title in LMP2, and last year I won Super GT’s biggest race; the Suzuka 1000km.

“Spa is extra-special though. I’m a Belgian and it’s Belgium’s greatest circuit – and one of the best in the world – and getting a good result there would be something to remember for the rest of my career.

“Although I haven’t driven the NSX GT3, I have plenty of experience of GT3 cars and I hope I can use this to contribute to a successful event for the team.”

Honda technical partner JAS Motorsport will run the Castrol-backed car which makes its debut in the Blancpain GT centerpiece and second round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
