North American sports car racing fans will be able to follow the Blancpain GT Series closer than ever in 2015, as SRO Motorsports Group has announced a three-year agreement with CBS Sports Network, which will include races broadcast live.
SRO confirmed Tuesday the renewal of its CBS Sports deal, which began last year, although its new contract will bring live coverage of the Blancpain Sprint Series, as well as delayed highlights of the Blancpain Endurance Series.
Additionally, Blancpain Endurance races can be followed live on Torque.TV for North American viewers. The deal with CBS goes through 2017.
In Europe, Eurosport will broadcast Blancpain Sprint races live, as well as live coverage of the Total 24 Hours of Spa in July.
Other pan-European coverage will come from Motors TV with live coverage of the Blancpain Endurance Series, while BT Sport will show both championships live in the UK.
Coverage will continue to be made available on the series’ official Web site, blancpain-gt-series.com.
