Adam Christodoulou will miss this weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa and has been replaced by Tom Onslow-Cole in the Pro-Am Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 while recovering from an injury.

Christodoulou was injured in the British GT Championship race on Sunday when his Team ABBA Racing Mercedes caught fire and has been ruled out of the Blancpain GT Series and Intercontinental GT Challenge joint round.

“Thank you to everyone for their kind messages of support, I’m in good health and surrounded by my friends and family back at home,” he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

“The docs have recommended a few weeks off whilst I recover, but I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m back at a track.”

Onslow-Cole has been called in to replace him in the No. 5 Black Falcon Mercedes.

The 31-year-old has driven Mercedes-AMG GT3s in several series this year, including the 24H Series and International GT Open.

He will join Rui Aguas, Kriton Lendoudis and Saud Al Faisal in the No. 5 Black Falcon car.

Muehlner Cup Cars Withdrawn; Field Reduces to 63 Entries

Muehlner Motorsport has withdrawn its pair of Porsche 991 Cups from the Group National field, bringing the grid size down to 63 cars.

The team had a pair of entries listed but with entirely TBC driver lineups.

It leaves a two-car Group National entry, with a Porsche entered by SpeedLover alongside GDL Racing’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

Another last-minute change to the entry list comes with Lorenzo Bomtempelli standing in for Rino Mastronardi in the No. 53 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3.

He will drive alongside Matt Griffin, Duncan Cameron and Aaron Scott with Mastronardi unable to drive for medical reasons.
