Jake Dennis will return to Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS for the first time since 2021 as part of Century Motorsport’s Bronze Cup effort.

The reigning ABB FIA Formula E world champion will team up with Darren Leung and Toby Sowery aboard the British squad’s No. 991 BMW M4 GT3.

Dennis, who remains part of BMW’s roster of factory drivers, last competed in Fanatec GT in 2021, joining Walkenhorst Motorsport’s Pro effort at the Nürburgring and Barcelona.

The Brit has primarily focused on single seater activities in recent years, serving as a development driver with the Red Bull Formula One operation alongside his commitments with Andretti Global in Formula E that saw him crowned world champion last year.

He did, however, take part in last year’s Nürburgring 24 with Walkenhorst.

“It’s always great to continue in GT3 racing with BMW and to be racing with the British GT champions, I’m confident we can fight for class wins,” said Dennis.

“Fanatec GT Europe has some of the best GT teams and drivers out there so it will be a good challenge for us.

“Testing has been positive so far so I think we can go into the first race at Circuit Paul Ricard with high confidence.”

Reigning British GT champion Leung, meanwhile, will continue his partnership with Dan Harper in the Sprint Cup, dovetailing both with his FIA World Endurance Championship commitments with Team WRT.

“My objectives are clear-cut and purposeful,” said Leung.

“Firstly, I aim to narrow the performance gap to my experienced teammates, using their expertise as a benchmark for my development.

“Secondly, it’s about capitalising on the results available to us through strong teamwork, not focusing on uncontrollables and maximising every opportunity available to us.”
