Emil Frey Racing will expand its Ferrari effort in DTM to include a third car, while also maintaining a two-car presence in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup.
The Swiss squad is heading into its third season with the Prancing Horse, having taken race wins in both championships last year.
In DTM, Jack Aitken and Thierry Vermeulen wil continue as teammates for a third consecutive season, but the duo will be joined by Ben Green as the team adds a third car in the series for the first time.
Green will make his DTM debut, while also continuing to form part of the team’s Sprint Cup effort alongside co-driver Konsta Lappalainen.
“I’m expecting a very exciting season,” Green said
“After our success last year, I have a good feeling about expanding my programme with Emil Frey.
“I think, together with Jack and Thierry, we will form a great team and push each other to peak performance.
“I’m also looking forward to competing with Konsta in the Sprint Cup again, and maybe this year it will be enough for the championship title.“
Emil Frey’s second Sprint Cup car, meanwhile, will be piloted by Vermeulen and series newcomer Chris Lulham.
Lulham will make his GT3 debut, having transitioned from the world of sim racing.
Much like his co-driver Vermeulen, the Briton has a link to four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen, forming part of the Verstappen.com Racing operation that features on the No. 69 Ferrari 296 GT3.
The 22-year-old stepped into real life sports car racing for the first time last year, competing in the Radical Cup UK.
“With our involvement in three championships and now three cars in the DTM, we are facing an intensive 2025 season,” said team principal Lorenz Frey-Hilti.
“Our goal is to be able to fight for top positions in all three championships. We are highly motivated and ready for the challenge and are looking forward to the first races.“
