Garage 59 has revealed its full, three-car driver lineup for the upcoming GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season, with Joseph Loake and Thomas Fleming joining the squad for the first time.
The British squad will embark on a combined effort in both Endurance and Sprint Cup competition this year, with two cars set to contest the full ten-round season while an additional third entry joins the stable at the longer races.
The program will be spearheaded by the No. 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, in which factory driver Marvin Kirchhoefer will share driving duties with Benjamin Goethe and team newcomer Loake, with the latter joining for the Endurance Cup only.
The 19-year-old transitions into GT3 racing after previously competing in junior single seaters, having raced in the FIA Formula 3 Championship last year.
Garage 59 has largely overhauled the lineup for its Pro car compared to last year, with Goethe the only driver to have been retained.
Tom Gamble, who was Goethe’s full season co-driver last year, has departed McLaren to take up a role with the Aston Martin Valkyrie program in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Meanwhile, Dean MacDonald, who joined as the third driver for the enduros in the previous season, has been moved across to take up a similar role aboard the Gold Cup-entered No. 58 car instead to team up with Louis Prette and Adam Smalley.
Garage 59 will also maintain a presence in the Bronze Cup through a third car for the Endurance Cup rounds, with Miguel Ramos piloting the No. 188 McLaren alongside Fleming and Guilherme Oliveira
Fleming is another notable newcomer to the team’s lineup, joining after making his GT3 debut with AF Corse in Sprint Cup competition last year.
