The GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG team topped first qualifying for this weekend’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

The No. 17 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo jumped from sixth when Fabian Schiller posted fastest lap of the fourth and final segment of opening qualifying to reduce the car’s average by more than a tenth.

Schiller took the Mercedes-AMG around the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2:16.817, which yielded a 2:17.049 average for the car.

That gave Schiller and team-mates Maximilian Goetz and Maxime Martin an advantage of just two hundredths of a second over the best of the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 Evos that had led the way in free practice.

The No. 50 Ferrari had been top of the averages before the final runs, but Nicklas Nielsen could only manage a 2:17.038 and fell behind the GetSpeed crew.

The Dane, Alessio Rovera and Tommaso Mosca ended up on a 2:17.068 average.

Lionspeed GP’s No. 80 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo shared by Thomas Preining, Ricardo Feller and Bastian Buus slipped from second to third with a 2:17.108 average.

Boutsen VDS took fourth on 2:17.164 with its No. 2 Porsche driven by Morris Schuring, Dorian Boccolacci and Alessio Picariello.

The second of the AF Corse Ferraris, the No. 50 entry shared by Arthur Leclerc, Lilou Wadoux and Sean Gelael, claimed fifth on 2:17.195.

Winward Racing’s lead Mercedes-AMG driven by Maro Engel, Luca Stolz and Lucas Auer, completed the top six on 2:17.243.

Top McLaren 720S GT3 Evo was the Garage 59 entry of Joseph Loake, Marvin Kirchhoefer and Dean Macdonald, who combined in the No. 59 car to set a 2:17.272 average.

A 2:17.293 average for Verstappen Racing’s 2 Seas-run Mercedes-AMG driven by Jules Gounon, Chris Lulham and Daniel Juncadella gave it eighth position.

The top ten was rounded out by the No. 7 Comtoyou Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo and Garage 59’s No. 58 Gold Cup entry.

The first round of qualifying determined the 32 cars that went through to the next stage on Friday afternoon, with all 18 Pro Cup entries progressing to the shoot-out stages.

Top Silver Cup entry was the No. 5 Optimum Motorsport McLaren in 16th place, while Kessel Racing took Bronze Cup honors with its No. 74 Ferrari.

Quickest in Pro-Am was the No. 86 High Class Racing Porsche.

The first 16 rows of the grid will be set on Friday over the course of the new-for-2026 qualifying format, which kicks off at 3:05 p.m. CEST (9:05 a.m EST).

Thirty-two cars will be whittled down to four over the course of three quick-fire rounds of qualifying before the final one-lap shoot-out.
