Christopher Haase put in a late flyer to top Pre-Qualifying ahead of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup round at Misano.

With five minutes remaining, the Audi veteran reeled off a 1:32.492 to leap to the top of the one-hour session.

As a result, Haase’s No. 88 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II went 0.095 seconds quicker than Team WRT driver Charles Weerts.

The No. 32 BMW M4 GT3 ended the session in the runner-up spot for the second time on Friday, having fallen behind Dinamic GT’s Marvin Dienst during Free Practice.

This time, Dienst picked up third in the No. 54 Porsche 911 GT3 R with a time of 1:32.623, leading Bronze Cup in the process.

Tom Gamble came fourth for Garage 59, ahead of the second Tresor Attempto Audi in the hands of Ricardo Feller.

BMW factory driver Dan Harper took sixth in the No. 991 Century Motorsport entry. Harper’s time of 1:32.718 was notably identical to that set by the No. 7 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo of Nicolas Baert in seventh.

Silver Cup was led by the No. 30 Team WRT BMW of Calan Williams in eighth, while the No. 14 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 and No. 78 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 completed the top ten.

The No. 25 Sainteloc Racing Audi led Gold Cup in 17th place overall.
