Audi Sport factory drivers Christopher Haase and Frederic Vervisch have joined Comtoyou Racing for the Belgian team’s Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS debut this year.
As announced in December, the experienced touring car squad is fielding three brand-new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs in both the Endurance and Sprint Cups.
Its program will include an all-factory Pro entry in the former series, with Haase and Vervisch sharing the No. 11 Audi with Gilles Magnus who represented Comtoyou in the final season of the FIA World Touring Car Cup last year.
Haase joins Comtoyou from Tresor by Car Collection, while Vervisch drove for Team WRT last season before the Belgian outfit switched manufacturers to BMW.
All three of the drivers in the Pro car for Endurance Cup will also contest the GTWC Europe Sprint Cup season, albeit in different Audis.
Lucas Legeret is pairing up with Haase in the No. 11 Pro car and Vervisch is partnering with another former Sainteloc Junior Team driver in Nicolas Baert. Magnus, meanwhile, will race in the Gold Cup alongside Finlay Hutchison in the No. 21 machine.
Bart is confirmed as part of Comtoyou’s Gold Cup crew in Endurance, sharing the No. 12 Audi with Audi Sport factory driver Max Hofer and former Bentley ace Maxime Soulet.
Soulet is gearing up for his first Endurance Cup campaign since 2020 with K-PAX Racing, although the Belgian joined Bentley squad CMR for last year’s 24 Hours of Spa.
Comtoyou’s three-car program in Endurance is completed by the Silver Cup trio of Hutchison, Loris Hezemans and Sam Dejonghe.
