Bovy to Tackle Spa 24H in All-Belgian Comtoyou Aston Martin

Sarah Bovy will tackle this year’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa as part of an all-Belgian lineup in a Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, with the June event being her first confirmed outing of the season.

Bovy has been a regular at the Spa enduro since making her debut in 2007 as a teenager and won the Gold Cup class in 2022 at the wheel of a Ferrari.

She had been left without a core race program for this year after the Iron Dames squad scaled back its racing activities but has now been confirmed as part of a Spa lineup that also includes Nicolas Baert – son of Comtoyou founder Jean-Michel – and Bronze drivers Xavier Knauf and Gregory Servais, who contested the 2025 edition together in a HAAS RT Audi.

The quartet will tackle the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS fixture on June 25-28 as an additional Comtoyou entry in the Pro-Am class.

“I wasn’t on the grid in 2024 or 2025, so I’m all the more delighted to have reached an agreement with Comtoyou Racing,” said Bovy.

“I’ve known the team for many years, especially Jean-Michel Baert and Francois Verbist, and I’m really happy to be part of it.

“I was able to do a short test with the Aston Martin Vantage and I think I should feel quite comfortable behind the wheel.

“The project is fantastic since we’ll be an all-Belgian quartet. As I get along so well with my three team-mates, I know we’re going to have a great time. What’s more, I think we’ll be a force to be reckoned with in our class.”

Bovy was also named as the grand marshal for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans last month.
