Al Manar Racing by HRT went quickest overall in the official Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS pre-season test as Fabian Schiller led the second day of running at Paul Ricard.

Schiller reeled off a time of 1:52.533 to pace the morning session on Tuesday and undercut the previous fastest lap from Monday afternoon set by AKKA-ASP.

Audi squad Sainteloc Racing led on Tuesday afternoon courtesy of a 1:52.971 marker but that wasn’t enough to beat the No. 777 HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

Mercedes-AMGs ran first, second and third in the four-hour morning run after AMG teams GetSpeed Performance and AKKA-ASP led both sessions on Monday.

Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs had the upper hand in the fourth and final session as Sainteloc and Tresor by Car Collection finished first and second, although Mercedes-AMGs still ranked highly by occupying the positions from third through sixth.

The afternoon session ended under red flag conditions after an off-track moment for the CMR Bentley Continental GT3.

A total of 42 cars turned laps in the morning, while 40 took part in the second session.

Of note, ROWE Racing did not run its BMW M4 GT3 on Tuesday, while Beechdean AMR and JOTA were only present for the first session on day two.

RESULTS: Session 3 / Session 4
