The No. 51 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 of Alessandro Pier Guidi continues to lead the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa with six hours remaining in the around-the-clock enduro.

Pier Guidi currently paces the field under the race’s seventh safety car period following an accident for the Am class-leading No. 23 Huber Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R of Nicolas Leutwiler.

It started as the eighth Full Course Yellow of the race.

Charles Weerts runs second in the No. 32 Team WRT Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo, ahead of the No. 95 Garage 59 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of Marco Sorensen, which has also remained in contention.

Pier Guidi held nearly a 20-second lead prior to the FCY, in what has been a controlling race for the Italian squad since the halfway mark.

An FCY for the No. 16 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini of Clemens Schmid, which stopped on track, saw the majority of the leaders dashing into the pits for their mandatory four-minute technical service stop.

It included the race-leading No. 51 Ferrari of Nicklas Nielsen as well as the No. 32 Team WRT Audi of Kelvin van der Linde, Mirko Bortolotti’s No. 63 Orange1 FFF Racing Team Lamborghini and the No. 66 Attempto Racing Audi of Christopher Mies.

Both the No. 95 Garage 59 Aston Martin and No. 37 WRT Audi made their technical stops earlier in the race under green.

The No. 90 Madpanda Motorsport Mercedes of Ricardo Sanchez continues to lead the Silver class, while Rino Mastronardi holds control of Pro-Am in the No. 53 AF Corse Ferrari.

The accident by Leutwiler has left both Am class cars out of action, at least for the moment.
