Rolex 24 Produces Combined 134,877 Miles on Michelin Tires

A dramatic Rolex 24 saw Porsche Penske Motorsport win for the second straight year. Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor secured Rolex watches by taking the No. 7 Porsche 963 to victory.

“It was incredible from beginning to the end,” said Nasr. “That final hour in the car, there was a lot going on. I had to go for it. Incredible to do it back-to-back.

“I want to thank Michelin for supplying us the best tires out there. IMSA always provides good racing, so I hope everyone out there enjoyed it.”

Nasr held off a charging Tom Blomqvist of Acura Meyer Shank Racing. The No. 6 Porsche Penske rounded out the GTP podium.

The 61-car field raced a combined 134,877 miles.

GTD: No 13, AWA, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Orey Fidani, Matthew Bell, Lars Kern, Marvin Kirchhofer

This was the first win in the world for the Ford Mustang GT3.
