TF Sport Entries Coming Together as ELMS Crew Returns

TF Sport has confirmed two driver lineups for its Aston Martin program in February’s Asian Le Mans Series season.

The British squad on Friday announced the return of Jonny Adam, Henrique Chaves and John Hartshorne to the No. 95 Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

TF Sport is also helping to run the D’station Racing Aston Martin for the Japanese team’s FIA World Endurance Championship lineup of Tomonobu Fujii, Charlie Fagg and Satoshi Hoshino.

Three TF Sport-run Astons appeared on the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series grid and Sportscar365 understands that the team is set to field a third entry again next season.

Aston Martin factory driver Adam took pole for two of last season’s four Asian LMS races while the No. 95 crew’s best race result was sixth in the first Abu Dhabi round.

Later in the year, the same driver lineup went on to share a GTE-spec TF Sport Aston in the European Le Mans Series, while Chaves was a key part in Ben Keating and Marco Sorensen’s WEC GTE-Am championship.

“I’m really looking forward to racing with Henrique and Jonny again,” said Bronze-rated driver Hartshorne.

“I will be able to take what I learned throughout this season, and with the familiar foundations of TF Sport and the Aston Martin GT3, I’m excited to see what we can achieve.”

The only driver change in TF Sport’s confirmed Asian LMS lineups is the addition of Fagg to the D’station car, after Tom Gamble partnered Fujii and Hoshino last season.

TF Sport’s winter racing plans are taking shape, with the team also recently confirming a two-car Rolex 24 at Daytona effort in the LMP2 and GT Daytona ranks.

In addition to the two TF cars, Malaysian squad Viper Niza Racing has announced its place on the Asian LMS grid with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

Viper Niza is set to make its first series appearance since a 2019-20 campaign in the LMP3 ranks, as well as its first Asian LMS season under the current four-round structure based in the United Arab Emirates.
