The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R will be officially unveiled later this month at Daytona International Speedway.

Corvette Racing recently posted a teaser video of the new-for-2024 GT3 contender on social media of the car testing at Sebring International Raceway, confirming it will be presented on Jan. 27, the Friday before the 61st running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

It will mark the first public appearance for the car, which will be initially available to selected customer teams in North America prior to a global rollout, likely for 2025.

The Pratt Miller-built car began its on-track development phase last October and has since completed a number of milestone tests, including at Mid-Ohio and Sebring.

Corvette Racing factory driver Tommy Milner has been designated as the lead test driver although all works pilots have played a role in the car’s development.

While GM will take the wraps off its new GT3 car at Daytona, Sportscar365 understands that the Ford Mustang GT3, also due in 2024, will be revealed during the ‘Super Sebring’ event in March.
