Miami International Autodrome has been added to the second season of McLaren Trophy America, with the SRO America-run single-make series set to make its debut as part of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix weekend.

Confirmed on Wednesday in the release of the 2026 schedule, the appearance alongside F1 on the grounds of the Hard Rock Stadium will be the first event with F1 for the British manufacturer’s series featuring the McLaren Artura Trophy EVO race car.

“To be a major support event for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix is a fantastic achievement and proves the strength of the McLaren Trophy championship in our biggest market,” said McLaren Automotive CEO Nick Collins.

“The Artura’s race-proven design, with its lightweight, rigid and safe carbon fibre platform, powerful twin-turbocharged V6 engine and class-leading driving dynamics makes it the perfect basis for a competition car.

“I’m really looking forward to the incredible atmosphere when the grid of McLaren Artura Trophy EVO cars appears at the Hard Rock Stadium next May.”

Following the opening rounds at Sonoma Raceway in March, alongside GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, the Miami race will be the second event of the season for McLaren Trophy America.

It will be followed by a new event at Road Atlanta in mid-June and returns to both Road America and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which will again close out the season in October.

2026 McLaren Trophy America Schedule:
March 26-29 — Sonoma Raceway
May 1-3 — Miami International Autodrome
June 11-14 — Road Atlanta
Aug. 27-30 — Road America
Oct. 8-11 — Indianapolis Motor Speedway
