Turner Motorsport has officially confirmed its move to the Pro class of GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, with two-time Pro-Am champions Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg.
As previously revealed by Sportscar365, the duo, who won the 2024 and 2025 titles in Pro-Am, will now contest for overall honors in their BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
This is due to Rothberg, who is FIA Silver rated, no longer receiving a driver derogation to Bronze* by SRO America due to the 24-year-old’s string of success, which also included winning las year’s GT America powered by AWS SRO3 class title.
As a result, Rothberg will exclusively focus on GTWC America competition.
“I’m super excited to be returning to World Challenge this season with Robby, Turner Motorsport, and Laticrete,” he said.
“This season will definitely be a challenge moving up to the Pro class, but I think we’ve got a great team and playbook to maximize our chances at success.
“I know Robby and everyone at Turner are ready for the occasion, and I’ll just have to get used to chasing faster rabbits, and we’ll see what we can do.”
Foley, a BMW factory driver, added: “I’m excited to be back with Justin for the 2026 season, debuting a new look for our Laticrete BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
“We had a dream run winning three championships across 2024 and 2025, and we’re excited to take the next step into the Pro class.
“It’s going to be a tough challenge, but with the continuity within our team, I’m confident we can fight at the front.”
