Bruno Senna led the way in warmup for today’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, with the Tequila Patron ESM Nissan Onroak DPis again dominating the time sheets.
The Brazilian reeled off a 1:36.018 to go quickest of the session, 0.189 seconds faster than teammate Pipo Derani in the pole-sitting No. 2 Nissan.
Dane Cameron was third quickest in the No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R, followed by the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac and No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Ligier JS P217 Gibson.
The No. 5 Action Express Cadillac did not set a time as the team elected to change the car’s rear-end after finding a potential issue prior to the session.
Dirk Mueller (GT Le Mans), Ozz Negri (GT Daytona) and Kyle Masson (Prototype Challenge) led their respective classes in the 20-minute session.
There were issues for both the No. 90 Visit Florida Racing Riley Mk. 30 Gibson and No. 16 Change Racing Lambroghini Huracan GT3, with Marc Goossens slowing and Brett Sandberg stopping on track.
The Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen gets underway at 10:10 a.m. ET.
