Scuderia Corsa will make its debut appearance at the FIA GT World Cup in Macau next month, with Felix Rosenqvist joining the team to drive its Ferrari 488 GT3.
Rosenqvist has won in other series at Macau twice before but is yet to claim victory in the GT race, while Scuderia Corsa is looking to end a strong season on a high after winning the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in GT Daytona.
“Competing at Macau is something very special,” said Rosenqvist. “I’ve had great experiences at the circuit in the past, but to take part in the GT race is something that should be extremely exciting.
“Scuderia Corsa has an incredible reputation for preparing some of the best Ferraris in the GT world, and I appreciate the opportunity from everyone.”
Team owner Giacomo Mattioli is equally excited for his team’s debut at the race, which will take place on Nov. 19.
“Competing in Macau for the win is an incredible opportunity to honor the Ferrari brand, topping this exceptional 70th year for the company,” he added.
“Felix’s record speaks for itself, quite remarkable in Macau, and between his driving and the depth of our team, we’re confident in our ability to deliver.”
