The German squad, led by Hans-Peter Naundorf, is understood to be finalizing a deal with the Bavarian manufacturer to compete in the Blancpain GT Series and Nurburgring 24 with multiple M6 GT3 cars, and likely with factory support.
Rowe made its full-season Blancpain Endurance debut this year with a pair of Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s and remained in contention for the championship until the final round of the season at the Nurburgring.
A formal announcement is expected to come this weekend at BMW’s end-of-year awards ceremony, which is being held in Munich.
They would join the previously announced M6 GT3 effort from ROAL Motorsport in the Blancpain GT Series.
