Attempto Racing is the latest team to confirm its plans to compete with Lamborghini in 2016, as the team sets its sights on the Blancpain GT Series and the ADAC GT Masters.

Following years of running Porsches in several championships, the German team diversified by adding a couple of McLaren 650S GT3s to its lineup in 2015.

The relationship with the British constructor ended midway through the season, with team boss Arkin Akka already stating he was on the lookout for a new GT3 of the latest generation.

Like many, Attempto opted for the Lamborghini Huracán GT3, of which the team will run two cars in the Blancpain GT Series, encompassing both the Sprint and Endurance races.

Additional outings in the German based ADAC GT Masters are also on the agenda.

No drivers have been confirmed so far.
