Muscle Milk Pickett Racing led the way in testing Sunday, as a handful of teams took to Road Atlanta in preparation for next weekend’s Petit Le Mans.

The No. 6 HPD ARX-03c of Klaus Graf, Lucas Luhr and Romain Dumas posted a quick lap of 1:10.510 around the 2.54-mile circuit.

The time, set in the two-hour session this morning, was more than three seconds quicker than the P2 pace-setting No. 551 Level 5 Motorsports HPD ARX-03b, which wound up second overall.

Level 5’s pair of HPDs, along with the DeltaWing coupe and debuting 8Star Motorsports PC car were the only prototypes to take part in the unofficial test session.

Quickest in the GT ranks were the pair of SRT Vipers, with the No. 93 entry of Jonathan Bomarito, Kuno Wittmer and Tommy Kendall posting a 1:19.394 lap time, set in the five-hour afternoon session.

The Team Falken Tire and Paul Miller Racing Porsches ventured out in the afternoon, as did the TRG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, which was the only GTC entrant to take part.

A total of ten cars set times, with more expected to take part tomorrow in the second and final day of pre-event testing.
