Trent Hindman topped the time charts in the opening day of official track activity for Friday’s Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race at Sebring.

The former GS class champion, in his debut with Bodymotion Racing, turned a best lap of 2:15.875 in the No. 12 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport he’ll share with Cameron Cassels.

It was 0.832 seconds faster than the Daytona-winning No. 15 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Shelby GT350R-C of Billy Johnson and Scott Maxwell, which was second.

The No. 35 CJ Wilson Racing Porsche Cayman was third on the time sheets in GS, with all three times set during the cooler morning session.

In ST, the No. 22 Kris Wright Racing Porsche Cayman of Andy Lee led the way, thanks to a 2:23.924 lap, also set in the first session.

Lee led a Cayman 1-2-3 in class.

Qualifying will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET, with the two-hour, 30-minute Sebring 150 taking the green flag on Friday at 12:20 p.m.
