AWA Racing will make its full-season return to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competition, with both Kuno Wittmer and Orey Fidani back in the team’s McLaren 570S GT4.

The Canadian squad claimed pole for January’s season-opening round at Daytona although was forced to withdraw from the remainder of the year due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions.

Team owner Andrew Wojteczko has since confirmed its return on a full-time basis with its planned 2020 lineup.

It is one of several Canadian teams, including Pfaff Motorsports, to firm up full-season plans in IMSA despite the ongoing pandemic.
