John Dubets claimed pole position for this weekend’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Lime Rock Park, as Robert Wickens earned his maiden series pole in the TCR category.

Dubets led the GS class with a time of 53.691 in the No. 28 Porche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR that he shares with Stevan McAleer.

The RS1 driver topped Friday’s 15-minute qualifying session by just 0.021 seconds, beating Alfredo Najri who was driving the Riley Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4.

Third place went to Murillo Racing Mercedes-AMG driver Kenton Koch, ahead of Hugh Plumb in the No. 46 Team TGM Porsche.

TCR pole-sitter Wickens was the fifth-quickest driver overall in qualifying, which was split into two sessions for the two different categories.

Wickens set the pace in the touring car class by almost three-tenths of a second, behind the wheel of his No. 33 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR.

The Canadian scooped his first career IMSA pole fresh off back-to-back wins at Watkins Glen and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park alongside his co-driver Mark Wilkins.

Wickens set the quickest first and second sectors en route to a final time of 54.048.

Harry Gottsacker took second place in TCR aboard the No. 98 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, while Michael Johnson and Mason Filippi completed a 1-2-3-4 result for the BHA squad.
