Kyle Marcelli and Sheena Monk will switch to PF Racing for the remainder of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season after its primary car was totaled in an accident last month at Sebring International Raceway.

Marcelli escaped injury in the high-speed shunt in the Alan Jay Automotive Network 120 at the wheel of the No. 3 JG Wentworth Racing by Infinity Autosport Toyota GR Supra GT4, which was damaged beyond repair after contact with the No. 77 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR of Mason Filippi.

The driver pairing have since found a replacement car with the Missouri-based PF squad, which ironically won the Sebring race with its pink-liveried entry of James Pesek and Chad McCumbee.

Marcelli and Monk will switch to the Mustang for the final eight races of the season beginning with next weekend’s round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

A total of 41 cars are on the entry list for the race, headlined by 28 GS class entries.

Thiago Camilo will make his first start in the No. 14 Riley Motorsports Toyota since Daytona, while Automatic Racing will field only its Bronze Cup No. 09 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 after running as a two-car operation at Sebring.

NTE Sport’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is not listed although there are additions to the grid from GMG Racing (James Sofronas/Kyle Washington) and Absolute Racing (Anderson Tanoto/Lars Kern) both in Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports.

Of note, Washington is set to pull triple-duty next weekend between his Pilot Challenge, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands driving commitments with GMG.

There are no major changes to the TCR class, meanwhile, which will feature 13 entries for the series’ only West Coast race.
