Justin Piscitell has been confirmed for the final five races of the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season with Alara Racing, ending what had been a race-by-race deal through the opening five rounds in 2015.

Piscitell will finish the year in the No. 34 Alara Mazda MX-5 with co-driver Christian Szymczak, in a car that will now feature Twister Trailers backing.

“I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to finish the season with Alara Racing.” Piscitell said. “I started my pro career with Alara and am delighted to be able to continue racing with them.

“The Alara crew has always been excellent, it’s no surprise that their Continental Tire program is as strong as it is.”

Piscitell currently sits third in the CTSC ST points standings, 18 points behind fellow Mazda drivers Liam Dwyer and Andrew Carbonell. Piscitell won the first four pole positions of the season, all in last-minute appearances.

He’s split the opening five races between three drives with Alara, where he has two podium finishes, a second place in Murillo Racing’s Porsche Cayman at Daytona and a final start in Murillo’s BMW 328i last race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
