Road Shagger Racing will return to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competition with an unchanged driver lineup of Gavin Ernstone and Jon Morley at the wheel of the team’s Audi RS 3 LMS TCR car.

The pairing, which combined for a TCR class podium finish in only its third race and victory at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this year, is set for its first full season as a standalone entity.

The Las Vegas-based organization had been run under the eEuroparts Racing operation prior to the team’s ceasing of operations in September.

“We are delighted to announce our continued partnership with Audi but also thrilled to announce the retention of our entire team of incredible people who helped make our inaugural season so successful,” said team owner Ernstone.

Crew chief Ben Kerrigan will be back to lead the team, with Mike Morgan as car chief, Erik Petersen as engineer, along with Trevor McClure as race strategist and spotter.

It is one of three Audi TCR cars entered for next weekend’s Roar Before the Rolex 24 pre-season test, although additional entries are expected for the four-hour season-opener later in the month.
