Max Faulkner will join James Vance at the wheel of the No. 23 FastMD Racing by Syndicate Racing Audi RS 3 LMS TCR car in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competition next year, it has been announced.

The 21-year-old, who drove for LA Honda World Racing in the 2019 season, has made the switch to the Speed Syndicate Motorsports-run operation, which has announced plans for a two-car Audi TCR effort.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining the FastMD by Syndicate Racing team for the 2020 season,” said Faulkner.

“The team has proven themselves a winning team and a team that is capable of providing a car that is fast enough to battle for wins and podiums time and again and I’m looking forward to being a part of that and continuing their success.”

Drivers for the team’s second entry have yet to be announced, with both cars not listed to take part in next weekend’s Roar Before the 24 pre-season test, which is not mandatory for Pilot Challenge competitors.
