The recent Watkins Glen-winning Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and Honda Civic Type-R TCR are among the cars to have been given weight increases ahead of Friday’s Sahlen’s 120 at The Glen.

Confirmed in a bulletin sent to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge teams on Wednesday, the Aston has gained 30 kg of weight with the Honda TCR getting a significant 40 kg of additional ballast for the upcoming race.

It comes following Patrick Gallagher and Stevan McAleer’s victory with Notlad by RS1 in GS and the Atlanta Speedwerks Honda duo of Ryan Eversley and Todd Lamb taking the class win in TCR.

Other Balance of Performance adjustments announced include a further 10 kg increase in minimum weight for the McLaren 570S GT4 and a 10 kg weight break for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR.

The Sahlen’s 120 is set for a 2:35 p.m. ET start on Friday with live coverage on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.
