A total of 20 cars are on the entry list for next weekend’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.

The two-hour and 40-minute race, for the GT Le Mans and GT Daytona classes of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, will be run on Sat. Aug. 22, with tape-delayed coverage on NBSCN on Sunday at 10 a.m. ET.

The entry list, released on Wednesday, features six GTLM machines and 14 GTD entries, including the return of Paul Miller Racing.

As reported last week by Sportscar365, Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow will make their first WeatherTech Championship start since winning the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona in January.

No other changes have been made since the last round at Road America, which was won by Corvette Racing and AIM Vasser Sullivan, respectively.

In addition to the WeatherTech Championship’s GT classes, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA Prototype Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama will all be in action over the course of the weekend, with a number of races slated for Sunday.

It will mark IMSA’s first event to be held behind closed doors amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
