A total of 35 cars are set for next weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in the annual LMP2 headline race for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Released by IMSA on Wednesday, the entry list features 12 LMP2 cars, ten GTD Pro and 13 GTD entries for the two-hour and 40-minute race North of the Border.

A number of LMP2 regulars have been replaced due to the clash with the FIA World Endurance Championship round at Sao Paulo, which takes place the same weekend.

Alex Quinn will sub for Malthe Jakobsen in the No. 04 CrowdStrike by APR Oreca 07 Gibson, while Renger van der Zande will be in for Sebastien Bourdais at Tower Motorsports and Tom Blomqvist subbing for Paul di Resta, as confirmed on Tuesday by United Autosports.

Additionally, Hunter McElrea will be in for Mikkel Jensen in the No. 11 TDS Racing Oreca.

The No. 18 Era Motorsport entry has a new lineup, with Tobi Lutke missing the round due to business commitments and Canadian Travis Hill replacing him alongside team regular Ryan Dalziel.

Another change for United is that Bronze-rated Phil Fayer takes the place of Nick Boulle in the team’s No. 2 entry, while, as previously reported by Sportscar365, JDC-Miller Motorsports’ entry makes its season debut with Gerry Kraut and Scott Andrews.

Of note, the No. 88 AF Corse Oreca is not listed to take part in the race.

GTD Pro sees the return of Marco Mapelli to the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Additionally, as previously reported, Giacomo Altoe will be back in the No. 81 DragonSpeed Ferrari 296 GT3.

The GTD field sees to-be-announced drivers in the No. 021 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari, following the split of Sheena Monk and Stevan McAleer, who were replaced at the most recent round at Watkins Glen International.

As predicted by Sportscar365, Roman De Angelis will sub for Tom Gamble in the No. 27 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, while the No. 32 Korthoff Competition Motors Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo is notably absent from the entry list.

Seth Lucas, the son of team partner Chris Lucas, did not drive at Watkins Glen in a last-minute change.

Additionally, several sprint-only driver lineups return to action for the first time since WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, including the No.  36 DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R duo of Robert Wickens and Alec Udell, as well as Jenson Altzman and Robert Megennis in the No. 66 Gradient Racing Ford Mustang GT3.

Track action kicks off on Fri. July 11, with qualifying set for that Saturday and the race getting underway Sun. July 13 at 2:05 pm. EST with live coverage on USA Network and Peacock.
