Sebastien Bourdais will reprise his role as third driver for Action Express Racing in the same three events he did in 2014.

The Frenchman will join defending TUDOR United SportsCar Championship champions Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi in the No. 5 Corvette DP at Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta.

“It is very exciting to be able to return with Action Express Racing in 2015,” Bourdais said. “Having teammates with the credentials of João Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi is an opportunity you seldom receive in racing, and one I cherish. Hopefully we will repeat as the NAEC champions, and start by returning to Victory Lane in the Rolex 24 at Daytona as we did last season.”

The trio won the Rolex 24 at Daytona to open the year and Barbosa and Fittipaldi emerged as Prototype class champions in the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup, as well as for the overall Prototype championship. Bourdais scored the overall pole at Sebring.

As was the case in 2014, there is an IndyCar conflict for Bourdais on the Watkins Glen weekend the last weekend of June. IndyCar races at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday, June 27 with the TUDOR Championship Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen on Sunday.
