The Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020, in its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship return, has been handed additional weight ahead of next weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Confirmed in IMSA’s latest Balance of Performance, the Scuderia Corsa entry will weigh in at 1335 kg, a 10 kg increase in the previous BoP table.

It marks a net 35 kg increase from the car’s configuration in January’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, which marked Ferrari’s last WeatherTech Championship appearance.

Colin Braun and Daniel Mancinelli will drive the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa entry in the 100-minute Long Beach contest, which features a total of 26 entries.

The only other BoP change ahead of Long Beach has been a 2-liter fuel capacity reduction for the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.

No adjustments have been made to the DPi or GT Le Mans categories.
