Oliver Jarvis will return to full-time IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition next year, joining Marvin Kirchhofer to form Pfaff Motorsports’ full season GTD Pro lineup.

Jarvis, who won the final DPi title with Meyer Shank Racing in 2022, will share the cockpit of a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo with factory driver Kirchhofer.

The pairing will be joined by former NTT IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe, who was confirmed on Friday as the third driver for three Michelin Endurance Cup rounds.

The deal marks a return to full-time WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition for Jarvis, who went almost entirely absent from the series this season to focus on a dual FIA World Endurance Championship-European Le Mans Series bid with United Autosports.

His sole outing came at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, where he joined Era Motorsport in the LMP2 class.

Before that, he completed five consecutive seasons in the series, first taking three wins behind the wheel of the Mazda RT24-P before joining Meyer Shank Racing to win the DPi title alongside Tom Blomqvist in 2022.

Jarvis will also return to the cockpit of a GT car for the first time since his involvement with Bentley’s Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli campaign in 2020.

Previous experience in GT3 racing for the Briton includes stints with Nissan and Audi. He is notably a former GT class winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona in an Audi R8 LMS.

Rossi Completes Lineup for Daytona

NTT IndyCar Series star and former overall Daytona winner Alexander Rossi will complete the team’s lineup for the Florida endurance classic.

The event will mark Rossi’s first appearance at Daytona not behind the wheel of a prototype, as he drove the Acura ARX-05 for his previous four starts at the event and made his debut driving the DeltaWing DWC13.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to compete once again at the Rolex 24 at Daytona,” Rossi said.

“While this year will be a first for me in a GTD Pro car, it is a race that I have come to truly enjoy over the years, and this will be no different.

“I look forward to getting to work with the guys and girls at Pfaff Motorsports, and helping them bring this new McLaren 720S GT3 Evo to the front of the grid.”
