The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 has been the hardest hit in both weight and power for next weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Released by IMSA on Thursday, the latest Balance of Performance table confirms that the Lamborghini has been handed a 20 kg increase in minimum weight, while getting a 5.5 percent decrease in first stage maximum declared power.
The GTD Pro and GTD class Lamborghinis, however, will have a marginal 0.9 percent increase in second stage power, at speeds over 200 km/h, since the most recent round at Watkins Glen International.
Other notable changes for CTMP include a 9 kg weight break for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, which will have a 3.7 percent decrease in first stage power and 0.9 increase in the second stage.
The BMW M4 GT3 EVO, meanwhile, gets 10 kg of additional weight and a 1.6 percent increase in first stage power, although countered by a significant 3.6 percent decrease at the second stage.
Mercedes-AMG’s GT3 Evo, meanwhile, gets a 8 kg increase in minimum weight and a 2.4 percent decrease in first stage power, along with a 0.4 percent increase in second stage power.
While the minimum weight of the Lexus RC F GT3 remains unchanged at 1356 kg, the car has a 0.7 percent increase and 2.3 percent decrease in first and second stage power levels, respectively.
Additionally, the Lexus will have its minimum rear wing angle decreased from 12 to 8 degrees.
The Chevrolet Grand Prix, which features LMP2, GTD Pro and GTD classes, takes place on July 11-13.
