Nasr Assumes Lead at Halfway Mark at The Glen

Felipe Nasr leads the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at the halfway mark of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup round.

The No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R holds a 1.319-second lead over the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 of Olivier Pla following the race’s third restart.

Nasr emerged as the leader following the latest round of pit stops after a dominant early run by the pair of Acura ARX-05s, most recently with the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing entry of Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque.

Their co-driver Alexander Rossi currently runs in third ahead of the fourth-placed No. 55 Mazda RT24-P of Jonathan Bomarito.

The No. 11 WIN Autosport Oreca 07 Gibson of Thomas Merrill has remained out front in LMP2 while the No. 74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 Nissan of Scott Andrews now leads LMP3.

Corvette Racing has remained in control of GT Le Mans with the No. 4 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R of Tommy Milner leading teammate Jordan Taylor.

GT Daytona is being paced by the No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jan Heylen.

Endurance Cup points have been awarded at the halfway mark of the race.
