Steven Aghakhani and Jacob Eidson have scored poles for this weekend’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America races at Virginia International Raceway.

Qualifying 1 saw Aghakhani take his No. 6 US RaceTronics Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo to a lap of 1:46.785, edging out the Pro-Am class pole-sitting sister No. 24 entry of Leo Lamelas by 0.260 seconds.

Drivers had only a single opportunity at a timed lap after a red flag early in the session due to an accident by Sydney McKee in the No. 87 Prestige Performance/Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini in Turn 6.

An additional 2 minutes were added to the clock in order to give drivers one flying lap once cleanup was completed.

The No 25 Prestige/WTR Lamborghini of Andrea Amici will line up a season-best third overall and second in Pro-Am, followed by the team’s No. 1 entry of Stevan McAleer.

Neil Alberico completed the top-five overall in the debuting No. 13 ANSA Motorsports entry.

Lance Willsey (Am) and Matt Dicken (LB Cup) scored class poles for both races, meanwhile.

Q2 saw significantly faster times with Eidson storming to a 1:44.745 lap time in his No. 6 US RaceTronics entry.

It was 0.415 seconds faster than championship rival Madison Snow in the No. 16 Change Racing Lamborghini.

Le0 Lamelas again picked up Pro-Am class honors but with the third quickest time overall, followed by the No. 46 PPM Lamborghini of Brandon Gdovic, who paced Friday’s practice session.

Stuart Middleton qualified fifth in the No. 1 Prestige/WTR Lamborghini.

Q2 ended early following an accident by the No. 25 Prestige/WTR Lamborghini of Ashton Harrison in Turn 10, with three minutes to go.

Race 1 of the weekend gets underway at 5:10 p.m. ET, while Race 2 is set for Sunday at 12:55 p.m. Both will be streamed live on IMSA.com/TVLive.
