ANSA Motorsports will make its Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America debut this weekend at Virginia International Raceway, having confirmed its two-car lineup.
The Florida-based team previously announced Neil Alberico as its first driver for its foray into the highly competitive single-make series, with three additional drivers announced on Monday.
Inaugural Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY champion Sergio Jimenez will join Alberico in the No. 13 car, which will fight for overall honors, with team owner Patrick-Otto Madsen and Danny Formal in the Pro-Am class No. 99 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo.
The team, which recently took delivery of two Lamborghinis, has completed extensive testing, primarily at its home track at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
“It’s ANSA Motorsports’ first time racing Lamborghini Super Trofeo in our decades-long history of motorsports,” a team statement read.
“Furthermore, it is the first time our organization has been given the privilege of representing Lamborghini Broward as our partnering dealership. We’re excited for this weekend.”
