Three-time Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring LMP2 class winner Scott Huffaker will make his Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America debut as part of World Speed’s lineup in its No. 22 entry.

The former Team USA Scholarship winner, who also competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship in addition to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, will join the previously announced Courtney Crone in the No. 22 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.

“I’m excited to be joining World Speed this season,” Huffaker said. “I grew up always seeing them at the track so it will be great to finally get the opportunity to work with them.

“We plan to fight for strong results, and I see no reason why we can’t achieve something great. I’m looking forward to the first race at Sebring.”

Team principal Telo Stewart added: “We have raced against Scott in the F4 series, and he is a fierce competitor. He is a proven winner, and we are looking forward to working with him.”

The Super Trofeo North America season kicks off at Sebring in March.
