Ortiz to Co-Drive With Gdovic in PPM Lamborghini

Former Mazda MX-5 Champion Bryan Ortiz has signed on with Precision Performance Motorsports for the 2021 Lamborghini Super Trofeo season to co-drive with Brandon Gdovic.

The pairing will share the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo in the popular single-make series, which is slated to kick off at Circuit of The Americas in May.

“I have known the Gdovic’s since the time when I drove in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, the team was always professional and putting great cars on track,” said Ortiz, a native of Puerto Rico.

“Brandon was a great competitor on and off the racetrack.

“I would like to thank all the partners that have supported my racing career, PPM for their trust and P1 Groupe for their help in getting this deal put together. I

“Im excited to get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo and contend for wins and the championship with Brandon.”

Gdovic ran a solo driver in the 2020 season.

“I’m excited to have Bryan join the PPM team, and to be co-driving with me for the 2021 season,” he said.

“Seven years ago, we were competitors in the NASCAR K&N series and now all this time later will get to drive together instead of against each other. It will be a fun year and I can’t wait to start working with Bryan soon.”

The North Carolina-based team is currently in negotiations with other drivers on possible additional entries for next year, with a pre-season test scheduled for next month.
