Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America continues its summer stretch of races this weekend at Road America for Rounds 5 and 6 of the season in the highly competitive single-make series.

A total of 35 cars are entered across the four classes of competition, with several changes since the last round at Watkins Glen International.

The Pro class remains at six entries, courtesy of the No. 8 Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 of Nate Stacy and Nick Persing moving up from the Pro-Am class.

At the same time, the No. 12 Valkyrie Velocity entry of Dominic Starkweather has dropped from Pro to Am as a result of his regular co-driver Tyler Cooke not being present this weeeknd.

Shehan Chandrasoma will have a new team and co-driver in TPC Racing and Bryson Lew this weekend after starting the season with NTE Sport, while Rob Walker is set for a solo appearance in the No. 45 Precision Performance Motorsports Lamborghini in Am without Christopher Tasca.

Additionally, Billy Johnson is set for his Super Trofeo return, alongside Todd Coleman in the No. 96 TR3 Racing entry, which is currently listed in the Am class but is likely to be moved to Pro-Am due to Johnson’s previous racing pedigree.

With four wins out of four races, WTR Andretti’s Danny Formal and Kyle Marcelli hold a 19-point lead over Giano Taurino and Lucas Petersson in the Pro class championship, marking the widest margin out of the four classes.

John Capestro-Dubets and Tom Capizzi hold a ten-point buffer in Pro-Am, with David Staab three points ahead of Anthony McIntosh in Am and Mark Wilgus with a 14-point lead in LB Cup over Fred Roberts.

Track action for Super Trofeo competitors begins on Friday with a pair of practice sessions, followed by qualifying on Saturday morning and Race 1 at 3:50 p.m. CDT. Race 2 takes place Sunday at 1:35 p.m. CDT, following the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race.

Both 50-minute races will be streamed live on Peacock and IMSA.tv, featuring commentary from IMSA Radio.
