Christopher Tasca has been declared the LB Cup class winner in last weekend’s second Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America race at Watkins Glen, which was impacted by a red flag and race-ending full-course caution.

Confirmed in the release of the provisional results on Wednesday morning, a ten-second post-race time penalty was added to the No. 99 Topp Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 of Rocky T Bolduc “for not maintaining the proper gap to the checker flag while under FCY.”

Bolduc had initially won the race in class, despite having had a 0.207-second time penalty added to his car for having a short pit stop.

The unofficial results confirmed there was an initially adjusted 0.871-second gap between Bolduc and the car directly in front of him, the Am class No. 57 XONINE Racing Lamborghini of Nick Goat, at the checkered flag under safety car conditions. Without the first penalty, it was a 1.078-second gap on the road.

For Tasca, driver of the No. 95 Forty7 Motorsports Lamborghini, it marked his first class victory of the season.

The added penalty dropped Bolduc to third in class in his Topp entry.
