Cole Loftsgard remained atop the time charts at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca following the second practice session for Mustang Challenge North America.
Driving the No. 42 Round 3 Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R, Loftsgard recorded a best lap of 1:32.673 in the session to outpace TechSport Racing’s Devin Anderson by 0.563 seconds.
Sandy Satullo was third quickest in the No. 7 Wheelhouse Motorsports Mustang, with Tate Pritt and Will Lucas completing the overall top-five.
Quickest in Dark Horse Legends was the No. 8 Wheelhouse entry of Tom Tait.
Both Jim Farley and Chris Clarke returned to action following their incident in opening practice.
While the 30-minute session ran without any major incidents, the No. 29 Paley Motorsports with AAG Racing entry of Ryan Persing went off course in Turn 6 after the checkered flag.
Qualifying is next up and is scheduled for 5:10 p.m. PST (8:10 p.m. EST).
