Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America will kick off the second half of its season this weekend at Road America, with the single-make series on the support bill for the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the first time.

A total of 35 cars are entered for the ninth and tenth rounds of the season, as the championships in all three classes are beginning to take focus heading into the home stretch of the season.

In Pro, Kellymoss driver Riley Dickinson has led the points since the first weekend of the season and currently holds a 63-point gap over McElrea Racing’s Tom Sargent in second.

Dickinson managed to increase the gap by nine points at the most recent round at Watkins Glen International, despite claiming a pair of second-place finishes to Will Martin and Jason Hart, who sit third and fourth, respectively, in the standings.

Efrin Castro, also of Kellymoss, heads into the weekend with a 20-point lead in Pro-Am over Marco Cirone, who is a further 20 points ahead of Jeff Mosing, who swept the weekend at The Glen.

The Am class, meanwhile, continues to see Mark Kvamme at the top of the standings over MDK Motorsports teammate Scott Noble.

Track action at the four-mile circuit begins on Thursday with a pair of practice sessions, followed by qualifying on Friday morning and the first 40-minute race of the weekend  set for a 2:55 p.m. CDT start that afternoon.

Race 2, which will also be streamed live on PorscheCarreraCup.US, Peacock and IMSA Radio, gets underway Saturday at 12:15 p.m. local time.
