Riley Dickinson claimed his eighth pole of the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America season in another commanding run for the Texan at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Kellymoss driver reeled off a best lap of 1:24.953 in his No. 53 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to edge out the No. 17 McElrea Racing entry of Thomas Sargent by 0.229 seconds.

Alex Sedgwick was third in the No. 98 JDX Racing/PT Autosport entry, with Jason Hart (MDK Motorsports) and Sean Varwig (Kellymoss) completing the top-five.

Pro-Am class pole honors went to Efrin Castro in the No. 65 Kellymoss Porsche, who edged out teammate Alan Metni by 0.167 seconds in the hard-fought session.

Scott Noble, meanwhile, claimed pole in the Am class for MDK.

The 30-minute session got off to a challenging start for Elis De La Torre, who suffered an accident in Turn 3 that brought out a brief red flag.

Race 1 is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EDT with live coverage on Peacock, IMSA.tv and PorscheCarreraCup.us.
