Dickinson Quickest in Both Indy Practice Sessions

Riley Dickinson continued to set his mark in Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America competition, having set the quickest times in both practice sessions Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Dickinson’s 1:25.566 lap time in the No. 53 Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car from Practice 2 stood as the quickest of the two sessions at The Brickyard.

It was 0.328 seconds quicker than teammate Michael McCarthy in second, with the No. 20 MDK Motorsports Porsche of Jason Hart third with a 1:25.950, a time also set in Practice 2.

Thomas Sargent (McElrea Racing) and Sean Varwig (Kellymoss) completed the top-five overall and in the Pro class.

Pro-Am was led by the No. 99 Kellymoss Porsche of Alan Metni, while Scott Noble paced the Am class in his No. 10 MDK entry.

Only two times from the 30-minute morning session held up as quicker than the afternoon track time.

Qualifying is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EDT.
