Riley Dickinson notched his sixth pole of the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America season, outpacing Alex Sedgwick and Will Martin for the top qualifying position for this afternoon’s race at Road America.

The Kellymoss driver stormed to a best lap of 2:07.586 in his No. 53 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to edge out Sedgwick, driving for JDX Racing, by 0.122 seconds.

It came in the second half of the 30-minute qualifying session that saw Dickinson take on fresh Michelin tires for the pole run.

Will Martin was third in the No. 9 JDX entry with a best time of 2:08.127, followed by McElrea Racing’s Thomas Sargent and Michael Cooper, who completed the top-five.

Dan Clarke will start sixth, followed by Sean Varwig and Michael McCarthy.

Pro-Am class pole honors went to the No. 53 Kellymoss Porsche of Efrin Castro, while Scott Noble beat Mark Kvamme to the pole in the Am class.

The session saw a single red flag due to an incident by Am class competitor Michael Merritt in the No. 63 McCann Racing Porsche.

Race 1 takes the green flag at 2:55 p.m. CDT, with live coverage on PorscheCarreraCup.us, Peacock and IMSA Radio.
