Riley Dickinson continued his dominant form in Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America competition, with the Texan converting his eighth pole into his eighth win of the season Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Dickinson drove his No. 53 Kellymoss Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to a flag-to-flag victory in Race 1 at The Brickyard, finishing 9.650 seconds ahead of the No. 64 Nolasport Porsche of Dan Clarke.

It came after contact between Will Martin and the No. 17 McElrea Racing Porsche of Tom Sargent into Turn 1 with ten minutes to go while battling for second.

Martin served a drive-through penalty for incident responsibility.

The incident dropped Sargent to seventh at the time and Martin to 16th after his penalty.

A separate penalty was given to the No. 20 MDK Porsche of Jason Hart, who was promoted to second after the first penalty, for incident responsibility on the opening lap with Alex Sedgwick.

It gave the No. 98 JDX/PT Autosport Porsche of Sedgwick a podium result, ahead of fourth-placed Jimmy Llibre and Thomas Merrill, who completed the top-five.

Efrin Castro extended his Pro-Am championship lead with his fifth class win of the season, with the Kellymoss driver edging out ACI Motorsports’ Marco Cirone by one second.

Am class honors went to the No. 10 MDK Porsche of Scott Noble in the 40-minute race, which ran caution-free.

Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday at 9:40 a.m. EDT with live coverage on Peacock, IMSA.tv and PorscheCarreraCup.us.
