Riley Dickinson topped the time charts in both Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America practice sessions at Watkins Glen International, in preparation for this weekend’s pair of races.

The Kellymoss driver set a 1:48.336 late in the 40-minute afternoon session to outpace the No. 8 McCann Racing entry of Michael McCann by 0.200 seconds.

Jason Hart wound up third quickest on the day in his No. 20 MDK Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, followed by the No. 17 McElrea Racing entry of Tom Sargent in fourth.

Michael McCarthy was fifth in the No. 7 Kellymoss Porsche ahead of Michael Cooper, making his Carrera Cup debut in the No. 33 Accelerating Performance entry.

The top-six quickest times all having been set in the second session of the day, with Will Martin’s 1:49.052 from the morning standing as the seventh quickest time.

The Pro-Am class was led by the No. 65 Kellymoss Porsche of Efrin Castro, while Scott Noble headed up the Am class for MDK Motorsports.

While the opening session ran without major incident, an issue for the No. 83 McCann Racing Porsche of James McCann, which was in the Turn 5 runoff, resulted in a brief red flag.

Qualifying is set for Friday at 8:35 a.m. EDT ahead of the first race of the weekend at 1:25 p.m., which will be streamed live on PorscheCarreraCup.us, Peacock and IMSA.tv.
